Chris Boulton and I wrote this article for Brewers' Guardian.  We're delighted to have received some fabulous feedback singing this article's praises.  Having planned it over the phone from Perth Airport in Australia, I wrote my bit in the grounds of a hotel in Johannesburg, emailed it across the world to Staffordshire, UK for Chris to add his contribution.  My the wonders of IT!
The core theme of this article is something of a well trod path that together and individually we have walking along for more years than we care to remember!  The headline is simple, look after your yeast and it will look after you.  The principles are well rehearsed, so much so that Chris pointed out 'as Werner von Braun used to say it's not rocket science'.  It's all about getting the process right from yeast supply/propagation, through pitching and fermentation to cropping and storage.  Larry Nelson - the Editor of Brewers' Guardian - encouraged us to come up with B&Q's 'top tips for looking after your yeast' which we did and hopefully has been 'clipped and saved' by readers worldwide.  Enjoy .... and implement!
